EgSA Hosts Delegates from Chad

Professor Sherif Sedky, the Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA) ‘s chief executive officer (CEO), welcomed a delegation from the Environmental Systems Research Institute (Esri) North Africa in the Republic of Chad to the agency’s headquarters. The visit aimed to explore avenues for collaboration in space technology, focusing on satellite imagery.
Professor Sherif Sedky expressed his happiness with the visit. He emphasised the agency’s role in promoting international cooperation in space technology, which contributes significantly to developing local and international capacities in this vital sector. Representatives of the delegation indicated their keen interest in leveraging the expertise of the Egyptian Space Agency in developing their future space projects, emphasising the importance of cooperation in exchanging experiences and techniques to achieve common goals in space technology.
The visit is part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Egypt and Chad and promote cooperation in the scientific and technological spheres to benefit both countries.
